Akins Doherty successfully procures trademark registration for national client.
The United States Patent & Trademark Office recently allowed a trademark application filed by Attorney Akins Doherty. Givelify is a mobile application that allows users to give money to churches and non profit organizations. The “Givelify app” is particularly peculiar in that churchgoers who forget to bring cash to church or churchgoers who miss church but still want to give money can still give money remotely through their mobile device using a patent-pending three-tap technology. The Givelify application is presently available for Android devices in the Google Play Store and will be available on Apple devices soon. Attorney Akins Doherty prepared the trademark application and prosecuted it to issuance. To view the certificate of registration, click here.
